Community
At Puget Sound Orthopaedics, we’re dedicated to the health and well-being of the community where we work and live. Since opening our doors in 1990, we’ve donated our time and resources to a number of local sports and service organizations. These include Tacoma 8 Rotary Club, the Western Forest Industrial Museum and the YMCA of Tacoma-Pierce County.
Our staff members are very involved in the local schools. Some volunteer as team physicians for the Auburn and Tacoma School Districts, the WA High School Basketball Championships, Pacific Lutheran University, and the University of Puget Sound. Others volunteer as lecturers in sports medicine and health classes in the schools. We also support the Tacoma Tides, a grass-roots team, and member of the United Soccer League’s Premier Development League.
We’re proud to assist organizations including the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center and the Shriner’s Hospital for Children. This volunteer time is some of the most rewarding work that we do, and we appreciate the opportunity to be of service.
