For this Provider Spotlight, we introduce Dr. Gavin Smith.
Dr. Smith is a board-certified podiatrist who is dedicated to providing exceptional podiatric care to his patients. With a focus on podiatry, foot and ankle surgery, joint disorders, overuse injuries, and foot and ankle deformity correction, Dr. Smith has earned a reputation in the community as a skilled and compassionate podiatrist.
After completing his podiatric medical education at the prestigious California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA, he then went on to complete his residency at the Podiatry-Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA. With his residency concluded, Dr. Smith pursued further specialization in Internal Fixation and Foot and Ankle Traumatology through the Association for the Study of Internal Fixation (AO) in Dresden, Germany. These educational and training experiences set Dr. Smith up for success with his patients, giving him the tools necessary to excel in podiatry and deliver the best care to his patients.
As a board-certified podiatrist and a member of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Smith is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies in podiatric care. He is passionate about helping his patients achieve optimal health and wellness through comprehensive and personalized treatment plans with achievable goals.
With a focus on surgical podiatry and non-surgical interventions such as casts, braces, and orthoses, Dr. Smith is able to diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders of the foot and ankle. He is also an instructor for the CHI Franciscan Podiatry Residency Program, where he enjoys sharing his knowledge of podiatry with the next generation of podiatrists.
